About

From Wikipedia:  ”Flash fiction is fiction of extreme brevity. There is no widely accepted definition of the length of the category. Some self-described markets for flash fiction impose caps as low as 300, while others consider stories as long as 1000 words to be flash fiction.”

When I first started writing flash fiction, it was called “short-shorts” by The Writer’s Market.

I have a long time love for this genre, especially since the very first piece of fiction I ever had accepted for publication was a “short-short” or flash story called Temperature Extremes.
